Tide’s webpage
Posted on September 10th, 2009 No commentsWell, Tide’s videos are getting so large that the blog can’t upload them. So, Tide has a webpage of his own where he can show off in grander style.
Here’s the link http://dogndive.com/dog/tidehome/Tide.html
Be advised, the files are large so they can be slow to open.

New swimming video
Posted on August 24th, 2009 4 commentsTide is 4.5 months old now and growing like the weeds in our field. His ears are up, his brain is all over the place and he is very full of himself. When finished eating, he uses his bowl as a musical instrument (think cymbals and drums.) He is a confident swimmer as the video shows.

Tide acknowledges Tess
Posted on August 18th, 2009 No commentsWell, this is probably overdue. Tide has told me that I must at least mention Tess and her accomplishments of late. (Partly because she linked to Tide.) When Tide grows up and gets properly agilified he is going to give her some serious competition. So anyway, here’s a link to Tess’s page.

Tide at 14 weeks
Posted on July 14th, 2009 1 commentTide is 14 wks now and he is so much fun. His training was put on the back burner for a few days as I was down and out with Shingles. I do not recommend anyone getting this virus. The good news is I am on the mend and about 60% pain free.
Tide’s ears were not equal and so we had them taped for 10 days. Here is his before photo .
and now here is his AFTER photo:
Ta Da, we think it was worth it:)

“Pool Time”
Posted on June 26th, 2009 No commentsWhile in Canada, Tide learned the joys of swimming. Back home, he can’t get enough “pool time”
Tess, the swim coach, must be given some of the credit – she’s a great motivator. -
Tidal Adventures
Posted on June 9th, 2009 1 commentTidal Adventures
The past weekend was spent at SE USDAA Regionals. What a great time was had by the whole family. This was Tide’s first trip in the RV (caravan) and he had a blast. Tide was outgoing and confident the whole weekend. He met pups his own age and dogs slightly older playing well with all. He sat in the stands with me tugging and watching mesmerized with all the action. He travelled well in the truck and was very glad to be home… no more car sickness. Thats a good thing. Once home it was good to have the freedom of the yard. There was lots to catch up on, play and have fun. Now, its off to Toronto, Canada for 10 days another adventure . Whoo hoo!

Tide, Saturday May 30
Posted on May 31st, 2009 1 commentTide has settled in nicely. He explores the property with confidence. He now offers bang the wobble board, & walk the ladder . Tide plunks on the travel plank into position for cookies. He is amazingly fast in his restrained recalls. He is very good in the house with crate games but watching Tess on the agility field is another story. I have lots of work ahead of me. His swim introductory class has come along way. He tugs on the first step of the pool and swims short distances with ease. The temps are high already so loving to swim is mandatory.

Tide is fitting well into the “pack.” He is a new friend for Will to tug against.
