I have just returned from another successful agility camp at Camp Weed in Live Oak Florida. Stuart and Jo worked from early morning until late in the day giving each camper their full attention The beginning of the week was pretty chilly, so cold the puppy pool iced over:). By end of the week we were back into the 70′s and everyone was happy. The new chef and staff were awesome and the meals excellent,  this made camp even more memorable.  Many of the participants at this camp were enthusiastic beardie owners offering oodles of entertainment day and night. Good fun and learning was had by all. Each day we had an early morning start, I met with interested handlers and their dogs for warm ups and canine massage. Kathy Leggett helped me out here and offered more stretches to be added to our repetoire. Observing dogs throughout the week this really seemed to make a difference in dogs running well all 4 days. I can’t thank Stuart and Jo enough for such a great week. They both gave outstanding evening lectures that were well attended. Also, thanks  to Kathy Leggett who gave an excellent presentation on the Art of Winning. And now…..

The great news is that both Jo and Stuart will be back in Feb 2010. Details will be available on my web site

    Newsflash!

I just received an email from participant Sally Treat who went directly to a trial after camp and she says “If you get a chance, please let Stuart and Jo know that they are Miracle Workers — at today’s AKC trial, Jolly got his 3rd Open Std leg and 1st ExA JWW leg, and Toby double Q’d — all with placements! Thanks again for a wonderful camp.” Congratulations Sally!
I can’t wait to hear from Sheila and Ruth who are in South Carolina at a USDAA trial. We wish them good luck and safe travel.
